The KLIK system starts with a small hardware box called the KLIKBoks HUB, that's installed behind every screen in the classroom. The KLIK hardware connects to the screen, the classroom network and any peripheral devices such as webcams, audio systems, document cameras and the like that you use in the classroom. The hardware is a one-time purchase, with no ongoing costs, and is covered by a 5-Year warranty.
Once the device is installed and connected, users can access a variety of collaboration features without installing any software on their own device. This includes wireless screen sharing, live streaming, annotation and session recording. Additional features are provisioned by the free KLIKConnect application made for Windows and Mac PCs.
Using the KLIKConnect app opens access to a host of features that many KLIK users find indispensable. For instance, the Moderator Mode allows a designated user to moderate screen-sharing sessions, with advance preview of of the presenters' screens. It also allows access to important features like Hybrid Conferencing and Multicasting, File Sharing and the ability to view shared content on personal devices.
KLIK has been in the collaboration market since 2015, continuously evolving software, hardware and application support. Unlike subscription-based offerings from other vendors, KLIK continues to offer support and software updates at no charge for the life of the hardware.
