In the third installment of this series, we outlined the KLIKLive streaming feature of the HUB, that allows for a Live stream to be sent to YouTube as the meeting is happening. Well, if instead of a Live stream you’d rather record the session locally, HUB has you covered with the Session Recording feature. Activated by the Memory petal, this feature allows you to capture all screen activity as a video file, for later review and dissemination to attendees.
Before you start a recording, open the Record settings panel, to select where the recording will be saved. While the HUB offers some space on its internal flash drive, it also offers an SD card slot, that accepts cards with up to 256 Gigabytes of storage space. Simply insert the card, then select it from settings panel, or select a sub-folder for easier session organization.
Once the target storage is set, simply choose the Resolution and bit-rate for your recording. Lower resolutions and bit-rates allow for greater recording length on the storage card, while higher settings are better suited to capturing detailed content and video, which can be captured at up to 1080p, at 60 frames per second. You can also record at 1080p, 30 frames per second, and 720p, at 60 frames per second, all at frame rate selections between Low, Normal and High.
With the HUB’s session recording feature, you can now save a record of every meeting for later review. Capture all of the shared streams, along with annotations, in one continuous stream. Go back and save screen shots of your content to send to meeting attendees as a record of what they may have missed during the session, while always retaining the original recording for more detailed analysis at any time.
