KLIK offers a new way to screen-share, with the KB460 USB-C Wireless Sender

Updated: Feb 5, 2022

Supported USB-C Laptop and Desktop PCs can now stream to any KLIK Wireless Presentation System receiver with the push of a single button.

At KLIK we’re known as the company that democratized wireless screen sharing in education, business and government applications. We broke the prohibitive cost barrier put up by the establishment players and delivered wireless screen sharing that everyone could afford through our hybrid KLIKStik and KLIKBoks products. Now, we’re adding even more flexibility to our offerings with the KLIK Knkt USB-C video sender product.

The Knkt USB-C (KB460) is the second in our series of “video senders” that started with the KB400 wireless HDMI sender in 2019. Just like the KB400, the KB460 is offered as an alternative to the various “soft” transmitters already supported by KLIK like AirPlay, Google Cast (Chromecast), Miracast and of course our own KLIKConnect app. The KB460

comes with a single USB-C cable that delivers both power and video, allowing users to start streaming in seconds.

While the majority of our users continue to use software for screen sharing, there are several who have requested a hardware alternative for certain use-cases. These cases generally revolve around support for guest users who might not have the software installed but also include devices that for various reasons cannot support software streaming (locked against software installation for example). Adding a KB460 to any KLIK system is a great way to accommodate those users.

In keeping with KLIK’s product compatibility the KB460 can be used with any KLIK “receiver” from the KLIKStik to KLIKBoks PLUS, PRO and HUB. Simply perform a one-time pairing procedure (takes less than a minute) and the device is ready to start streaming. The KB460 can connect across the Wi-Fi network or stand alone without Wi-Fi, making a peer-to-peer connection to the KLIK receiver. This latter approach allows for a fully-secured and end-to-end encrypted connection, delivering the very best security possible.

Once the KB460 has been paired, it’s insanely easy to use. Just plug the cable into any USB-C port and press the button. Your screen is mirrored to the screen instantly. A multi-colored LED ring offers a visual status indicator so you know when you’re connected and when you’re streaming content. Press the button again to end a streaming session. Unplug the device and pass it on to the next presenter. It’s just that easy.

KLIK Knkt USB-C (KB460) is available now for just $249 (US & Canada) from our network of Resellers, Distributors and the online KLIK store. Find a reseller at https://www.klikboks.com/buy-now.
